The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The provider place established for intervention activities a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it hard for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to empower the here servicing of all customers and maximize entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
